OK.Golf

About

A real person.
Not a portal.

OK.Golf is one Lithuanian golfer (me) who reads every trip brief, talks to the operators personally, and stays with you all the way through the trip.

Why I started this

Planning a buddy trip shouldn't feel like a part-time job.

Every year I watched friends (Lithuanian, Polish, Latvian, German) try to organise their golf buddy trips. The pattern was always the same: a group chat, five operators cold-emailed, three weeks of back-and-forth, half-trusting whichever one replied fastest, and a lingering worry that they'd missed a better option.

I'm a golfer. I know the destinations. I know which operators answer their emails. I know which resorts oversell their tee times and which actually deliver. That knowledge was sitting in my head doing nothing.

So OK.Golf became this: tell me about your trip, I'll come back with two or three operators I'd send my own friends to, and you decide. Free for you. Operators pay me a referral fee on bookings. For trips to Lithuania, I'm your direct organiser, since I live here and have the network.

How I'm different from a portal

Four small principles.

  1. 01

Every brief is read by hand.

No automated matching, no quiz spitting out a generic shortlist. I read your form and think about your group.

  2. 02

A small set of vetted operators.

I'd rather work with a handful of operators I can vouch for than be a directory of fifty I've never spoken to.

  3. 03

    Honest trade-offs, in writing.

Every shortlist comes with my notes on the trade-offs: "this one is cheaper but breakfast is rough," "this one is pricier but the courses are better."

  4. 04

    I stay reachable throughout.

If something goes wrong on the ground, message me. I get on the phone to the operator myself.
