What we collect
When you submit a trip brief, we collect: your name, email, optional phone/WhatsApp, country, and the trip details you provide (dates, trip length, group size, budget, golf level, evening preferences, free-text notes).
If you say yes in the cookie banner, we also use PostHog, an analytics service, to see how people use the site and which pages need work. Until you accept, or if you decline, PostHog doesn't track you: no cookies, no visit statistics and no recordings.
If you accept: PostHog records the pages you visit, what you click, how far you scroll, how fast pages load, which site or link brought you here, your device and browser type, and your rough location (country and city) based on your IP address. It keeps an ID in your browser to recognise repeat visits, and makes session recordings: a replay of your visit (scrolling, clicks, mouse movement) that we watch to spot confusing pages. Anything you type into a form is masked in your browser first, so it never shows up in a replay.
If you've accepted and then send a trip brief or booking request, PostHog links your visits to your name, email and country, plus the main trip details (like dates, trip length, group size and budget). Your phone number and notes are never sent to PostHog. PostHog keeps all of this on its EU servers in Frankfurt, Germany.
Why we collect it
So we can reply to your brief, plan and book your trip, and follow up with you about it. If you accept analytics cookies, that data is only used to understand how the site is used and to make it better.
Who we share it with
Only the courses, hotels and transport companies involved in your trip, and only the details they need to book it. To run the site we also use a few service providers: PostHog for analytics, Resend and Google Workspace for email, and Cloudflare for hosting. We do not sell, rent, or trade your data. We do not share it with third parties for marketing.
How long we keep it
For active trip planning, until the trip is complete plus 12 months (for follow-up and any post-trip support). You can ask us to delete it sooner.
Cookies
If you accept analytics cookies, PostHog sets one cookie plus a few matching entries in your browser's storage. They hold an ID for your browser and a note of how you first arrived, so PostHog can recognise you across pages and repeat visits. The cookie expires 12 months after your last visit, and the storage entries can stay until you clear your browser data.
If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and nothing is tracked. We only keep a note of your choice in your browser so the banner doesn't ask again. You can at any time, here or from Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. No advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking.

Access, correct, or delete your data by emailing hello@ok.golf. We'll respond within 30 days, usually much sooner.
