About The V Golf Club at Vilnius Grand Resort
The V Golf Club at Vilnius Grand Resort is the headline course in any Lithuania buddy trip. It’s the country’s leading 18-hole championship layout, set in mature parkland about 25 minutes from Vilnius city centre. International visitors who fly in specifically to play golf in Lithuania almost always have it on the list, often as their reason for coming.
The course is attached to a 4-star spa resort, which makes the logistics easy. Groups with non-golfing partners can leave them at the resort for the day. Groups that want to play two rounds without a daily transfer can stay on site. And the championship layout sits at the demanding end of Lithuanian golf, with conditioning that holds up reliably from May through September.
Getting there
- From Vilnius city centre: about 25 minutes by car
- From Vilnius airport (VNO): about 25 minutes
- From Kaunas airport (KUN): about 1 hour 15 minutes
For groups I organise, I arrange a private van transfer from your hotel to the course and back, including space for clubs.
What to expect
- Layout: 18-hole parkland championship course
- Difficulty: A real test from the back tees; fair and scoreable from the forward tees, so it works for mixed-ability groups
- Conditioning: Reliably good May through September
- On-site: 4-star spa resort, restaurants, pool, comfortable post-round set-up
How it fits into a Lithuania trip
The V Golf Club is the round I’d lead with in almost every itinerary. A typical 3-night Lithuania trip plays it on day one or two (when the group is fresh), with one or two of the other courses (Capitals Golf Club, European Centre Golf Club) added on the other days. Coastal-leaning trips add a night in Klaipėda for National Golf Resort.
If you’d like to play it as part of a buddy trip, fill in the trip brief and mention The V Golf Club. I’ll come back with a tailored quote within a couple of days.
